Job summary

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a growing and dynamic team at client locations in Honolulu, Waikiki, Kahala, and Moana. The role requires 2 years in F&B with prior supervision, a fixed pay rate of $33.65/hour, and a full-time schedule including weekends and holidays.

Travel to other sites may be required. The candidate will oversee opening/closing, budgeting, staff training, and compliance with alcohol service rules, using OpenTable and NCR Silver

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related field.
• Prior managerial experience in the restaurant industry required.
• Experience in a high-volume food service establishment required.
• Familiarity with restaurant software preferred (OpenTable, NCR Silver Pro).

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant operations, including opening and closing shifts.
• Use OpenTable and NCR Silver Pro for front- and back-of-house tasks.
• Manage budget, including labor, food, and direct operating costs.
• Staff training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with local alcohol service requirements.
• Handle guest complaints and drive satisfaction.
• Assist with POS and general office equipment management.

Experience

• Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs; able to stand continuously throughout shift.
