SSP America in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) to lead daily restaurant operations and guest services. You will supervise team performance, train staff, manage inventory, scheduling, and payroll while upholding brand standards and budgetary controls.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of restaurant management experience, strong MS Office and POS system skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced airport

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in restaurant management or supervisory role.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) and POS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with executives and staff at all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Manage restaurant and customer service activities, ensuring tasks and goals are completed with feedback.
• Lead, train and develop a team of Food Travel Experts; assign daily goals and tasks.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures; maintain brand standards.
• Maintain merchandising displays and signing standards; monitor inventory levels.
• Oversee office tasks: receiving, inventory, purchasing, scheduling and payroll.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting; analyze sales reports.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate complex problems to management.

We have an exciting opportunity for an

Assistant Restaurant Manager

within the Dane County Regional Airport (MSN).

What You’ll Do:

Manage All Restaurant and Customer Service Activities:

Manage, supervise and evaluate Team Member performance through follow-up to ensure proper completion of assigned tasks and goals and provides feedback including disciplinary action.

Lead and Develop Team:

Recruit, train, and communicate with team of Food Travel Experts. Develop, plan and assign daily goals, tasks and Team Member assignments. Implement and maintain guest service standards and brand specifications fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Systems and Processes:

Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedure.

Merchandising and Displays:

Maintain all brand standards, display presentations and signing standards and monitor inventory levels.

Office Management:

Handle tasks such as management of receiving, inventory, purchasing, team member scheduling and payroll.

Forecasting and Budgeting:

Assist in monitoring sales performance through the analysis of sales reports.

Problem Solving:

Address routine issues and elevate complex problems to higher management as necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

Educational Background:

High School Diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree or equivalent coursework preferred.

Experience:

2+ years in the restaurant industry in a management/supervisory capacity.

Technical Skills:

Proficient level of computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems. Effective organizational maturity to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities.

Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to interact at all levels, including with executives, union representatives, and diverse hourly team members. Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.

Competitive Compensation:
