Position Overview

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support F&B operations, oversee restaurant and bar management, and assist with new openings and other resort areas like Food Trucks, The Clutch, and Banquets/Catering. The role involves ensuring quality, service standards, and operational efficiency, collaborating with the General Manager on strategic planning and P&L analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and support all F&B outlets, working with Managers and Supervisors.
  2. Improve productivity, food quality, service, and merchandising to boost sales and profits.
  3. Enforce policies, schedules, and operational standards.
  4. Achieve profit and productivity goals, maintain sanitation, and innovate offerings.
  5. Evaluate guest satisfaction and manage costs related to food, beverage, and labor.
  6. Manage purchasing, inventory, and uphold food & beverage concepts.
  7. Monitor payroll, conduct staff meetings, and ensure training compliance.
Managerial Duties
  1. Administer policies consistently and complete disciplinary procedures.
  2. Conduct performance reviews and manage emergency procedures.
  3. Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
  4. Ensure ongoing staff training aligned with guest expectations.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 2 years management experience in hotel/resort F&B.
  • Experience hiring and developing staff.
  • QSR and outdoor dining experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Proficiency in POS, inventory systems, and MS Office.
Compliance & Physical Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license, background check required.
  • Alcohol and Food Handler Certifications per state laws.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 40 pounds, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
