Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation is seeking an Assistant Residence Director to support daily residence operations and supervise residential staff. You will help implement person-centered services and promote independence for residents in our programs.

The role includes on-call coverage, collaboration with the Residence Director, and leadership in a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care and community engagement. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Standard driver’s license – class C or class D1 and 3 years of related experience are required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Residence Director with daily residence operations and supervise residential staff.
  • Provide on-call coverage as needed, including occasional weekends and RD vacation coverage.
  • Support residents in learning life skills, fostering independence and community engagement.
  • Monitor health, medications, and appointments; maintain safe and clean residential spaces.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents’ families and external service providers.
  • Complete required certifications and ongoing training (e.g., MAP, CPR, First Aid).

Seven Hills is seeking a dedicated Assistant Residence Director to support the day-to-day operations of our residential programs and help individuals with developmental disabilities thrive in their communities. This role provides hands-on leadership experience and opportunities to develop skills for future operations management.As an Assistant Residence Director, you’ll work closely with the Residence Director and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered support while promoting independence, community involvement, and personal growth for the individuals we serve.Starting pay is $22.50/hour, with additional differentials based on location and qualifications. Cape-based programs offer a $1/hour differential. Martha’s Vineyard programs offer a $4/hour differential, with the exception of the Franklin Street program, which offers $3/hour.
