Job Description

This is a senior research position responsible for conducting sophisticated experiments as outlined in the PI's research grants. The role involves planning scientific research activities, managing objectives and budgets, measuring research outcomes, preparing reports, developing presentations, and discussing findings with scholars, professors, and researchers at other universities. The position also includes mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in their research projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex data analysis and prepare research findings for publication and future development.
• Aim to publish 1-2 first-author papers annually and present research at 1-2 national scientific meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or PhD in Biological Sciences from an accredited institution.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Postdoctoral experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in molecular biology, physiology, and cell biology related to coronary and microvascular disease and brain injury.
