A leading university is seeking a Research Associate for a grant-funded project aimed at examining a writing-based intervention for Chinese American cancer survivors. The associate will assist in various aspects of data collection, with opportunities in data management and analysis, supervised by Dr. William Tsai. Candidates fluent in Mandarin Chinese and/or Cantonese are encouraged to apply, particularly those interested in pursuing PhD programs in Psychology.
We are seeking a Research Associate on a grant-funded project starting September. Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and/or Cantonese. This project examines the feasibility and efficacy of a writing-based intervention for Chinese American cancer survivors. The RA will assist with all aspects of data collection, including participant recruitment, screening/tracking, as well as preparing IRB applications. There will be opportunities related to data management, analysis, and writing. Students interested in applying for PhD programs in Psychology are especially encouraged to apply.
This position will be supervised by Dr. William Tsai (Director of the Culture, Emotion & Health Lab at NYU).
Research Associate Responsibilities:
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the base hourly rate for this position is $20-$24/hour. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Per NYU's remote-work policy, this position is expected to be fully in person.
