JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Penn State is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Research Professor.
We invite applications for an Assistant Research Professor position in the area of Neural Engineering and Brain Synchrony.
The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with an interdisciplinary team of engineering faculty and others in related fields at Penn State. The position will include an expectation for active participation in focused mentoring and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications Required:
A PhD in biomedical engineering or closely related field by the start date
Prior experience with the use of multi-modal recordings with AI/ML and computational modeling for use in precision medicine
A strong academic record
A strong written and oral communication capability
