Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation in Maryland is seeking an Assistant Director of Rehab (or an in-training Director of Rehab) to support the Director in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services across multiple locations.

You will supervise therapists and aides, provide direct patient care as needed, ensure compliance with evidence-based standards and Medicare billing, and drive staff development and education. Travel across locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum 3 years direct patient care and 1 year management in rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing a team of therapists and assistants.
• Provide direct patient care (up to 50% of the day or more).
• Monitor quality of clinical services and compliance with standards.
• Support staff by removing barriers to treatment and providing education.
• Cover Director of Rehab duties in their absence.
