Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Rehab PTA to lead rehabilitation services across multiple sites. You will mentor staff, manage patient care, and ensure adherence to clinical and financial goals.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgets, and program development, while pursuing new contracts and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Knowledge of Medicare billing and licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Director of Rehab PTA level must have three years direct patient care experience and one year of management experience in rehab.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rehabilitation services across assigned sites for efficiency and profitability.
• Support staff with treatment access and clinical education to meet patient needs.
• Review monthly outcomes and guide strategies to improve results.
• Lead staff development, coaching, and mentoring at area level.
• Assist in annual merit reviews and hiring of therapy staff.
• Coordinate daily staffing and utilization with input from therapists and clinical director.
• Manage financial controls of revenue and expenses and facility reporting.
• Contribute to annual budget prep and achievement of budget goals.
• Promote Powerback Rehabilitation products and services and pursue new contracts.
• Develop relationships with facility management and staff as Powerback representative.
