Go Store It - Self Storage is hiring an Assistant Regional Manager in Chicago, IL. The role supports daily operations, maintenance, and customer service across locations. You will help train staff, adjust rates, and ensure units are prepared for new tenants.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. This is a full‑time on-site position with strong growth potential within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial contact to applicants following specific interview aid.
• Train new hires following training manually.
• Update unit status.
• Adjust rates.
• Handle customer escalations not related to employee complaints.
• Walk the property daily to inspect for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything off.
• Fix small maintenance items like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and basic repairs.
• Keep the facility clean and organized across hallways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs and prepare for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to ensure proper operation.
• Assist customers on site and help ensure smooth operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with initial contact to applicants following specific interview aid.

• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they’re working.
• Help customers when they’re on site and need a hand.
