Job summary

Madison Capital Group Holdings LLC is hiring an Assistant Regional Manager for our Chicago, IL area. This on-site role focuses on daily operations, maintenance, and customer service to ensure smooth property management and tenant satisfaction.

You will assist with applicant contact, train new hires, manage unit status, adjust rates, and walk the property daily to spot and fix issues, maintaining a clean, secure environment for renters.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to train new hires and follow established procedures.
• Willingness to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs.
• Comfort with basic property walkthroughs and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial contact to applicants following interview aids.
• Train new hires following training guidelines.
• Update unit status and adjust rates as needed.
• Handle customer escalations not related to employee complaints.
• Walk the property daily, check for issues, and address simple repairs.
• Keep areas clean and ready for new renters after move-outs.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to ensure proper operation.
• Support on-site customers and maintain a well-presented property.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with initial contact to applicants following specific interview aid.
• Training new hires following training manually.
• Updating unit status.
• Adjusting rates.
• Handling customer escalations not related to employee complaints.
• Walk the property every day. Look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that’s off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they’re working.
• Help customers when they’re on site and need a hand.
• Take care of the place so it looks right and runs smooth. Like something you’re proud to be part of.
