Go Store It Oak Ridge is seeking an Assistant Regional Manager to help run our self-storage property. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, handle customer escalations, and ensure security and clean, well-maintained facilities.

You’ll train new hires, adjust rates as needed, walk the property daily, and keep units ready for new tenants. The role offers full-time hours, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to learn and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial contact to applicants following interview aid.
• Train new hires following training manually.
• Update unit status and adjust rates as needed.
• Handle customer escalations not related to employee complaints.
• Walk the property daily to check trash, damage, lights, leaks, and other issues.
• Fix minor maintenance like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and patch work.
• Keep the property clean and well maintained across all areas.
• Turn over units after move-outs and prepare for new renters.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to ensure they’re working.
• Assist customers on site as needed and maintain a presentable property.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with initial contact to applicants following specific interview aid.
• Training new hires following training manually.
• Updating unit status.
• Adjusting rates.
• Handling customer escalations not related to employee complaints.
• Walk the property every day. Look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that’s off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they’re working.
• Help customers when they’re on site and need a hand.
• Take care of the place so it looks right and runs smooth. Like something you’re proud to be part of.
