A well-established and growing HVAC and plumbing services company is seeking a Assistant Regional Controller to lead financial operations across multiple business units in East Texas. ️ About the Role

As Assistant Regional Controller, you'll work closely with operations leaders and local finance teams to ensure accurate financials, efficient processes, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll have a direct hand in:

• Leading monthly close and revenue recognition processes
• Preparing P&Ls, WIP reports, and financial packages
• Supporting project forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Mentoring and developing accounting team members
• Partnering with business units to optimize performance
• Strengthening internal controls, audits, and compliance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (construction/service-based background preferred)
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, WIP accounting, and multi-entity operations
• Hands-on experience with financial systems (NetSuite or similar a plus)
• A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset with strong business acumen
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or advanced degree preferred
