The City of Fayetteville, NC, is seeking two Assistant Recreation Center Supervisors to assist in planning, organizing and conducting activities and programs at an assigned recreation center. They will support staff, coordinate classes and events, and help enforce center rules.

Applicants should possess an Associate’s degree in recreation or public administration, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications within one year of hire.

Competenze

• Equivalent to an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in recreation or public administration, physical education or a related field.
• Experience in recreation programs, education, public service or related field preferred.
• Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications within one year of hire (CPR/First Aid preferred).

Mansioni

• Assist with coordination and scheduling of recreation classes, activities and events.
• Assist in organizing, scheduling and implementation of center activities; monitor operations.
• Participate in staff selection and training; provide instruction as needed.
• Assist in goals/objectives, scheduling and policy implementation for center management.
• Promote activities within the center; prepare marketing materials and schedules.
• Respond to inquiries; handle complaints and gather input from the public.
• Receive and balance money; issue receipts.
• Enforce center rules and ensure safety; provide first aid if needed.
• Act as Recreation Center Supervisor in the absence of the site supervisor.
