Job summary

Flying Diamond seeks an Assistant Ranch Manager to operate a cow/calf and yearling program on Tee Cross Ranch, a 40k acre operation south of Ellicott, CO.

Under the Colorado Springs Division Manager, you will handle daily cattle and water checks, infrastructure and equipment maintenance, cattle feeding and health monitoring, and all related record-keeping. Housing is provided on the ranch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on scaled cattle operations.
• Experienced in cattle handling, fencing and water infrastructure, equipment maintenance.
• Hard-working, reliable, and teachable.
• Demonstrates alignment with the ranch's core values: Striving, Accountability, Fundamentals and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cow/calf and yearling program on Tee Cross Ranch.
• Perform daily cattle and water checks.
• Maintain and repair fences, corrals, water infrastructure, and ranch buildings.
• Perform equipment maintenance and routine upkeep.
• Oversee cattle feeding, health monitoring and record-keeping, including cattle processing days.
