Pottsville Quarry and Asphalt seeks an Assistant Quarry Superintendent to support 2nd shift production, ensuring safe and efficient material production on site.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and attention to detail, with responsibilities across production, government compliance, and personnel management. This position is based on-site near Pottsville, PA, and offers benefits and growth opportunities within H&K Group.

Formación

• Five years related experience and/or training; combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Effective verbal and written communication; basic computer skills including internet and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies.
• Interact with DEP and MSHA inspectors and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor team; report progress to Supervisor; assign daily work.
• Provide tools and equipment to employees and ensure proper training.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and daily huddles; complete required paperwork.
