Pottsville Quarry and Asphalt in Pottsville, PA, seeks an experienced 2nd Shift Groundperson to support production and maintenance. Safety focused, detail oriented, and a strong team player are essential; CDL not required.

Responsibilities include performing work per MSHA and HK safety policies, plant maintenance, keeping areas clean, learning plant functions, cross-training to cover other roles, and supporting site personnel as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Willing and able to work a 2nd shift schedule.
• Ability to fit test & use appropriate PPE as needed.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting).

Responsabilidades

• Performs all work according to MSHA and HK Safety policies.
• Maintains plant and work areas.
• Maintains clean work areas including catwalks and plant spaces.
• Proactively learns plant functions and operations.
• Obtains knowledge to complete assigned tasks.
• Works in a team with site personnel.
• Cross trains to learn all plant jobs and substitutes when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
