Job summary

Pottsville Quarry and Asphalt is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Groundperson to support production and maintenance. The ideal candidate values safety, teamwork, and attention to detail; CDL is not required.

The site offers excellent benefits and opportunities for training and growth within The H&K Group. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, ensuring clean work areas, and operating in compliance with MSHA and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work a 2nd shift schedule and meet PPE requirements.
• Ability to meet physical requirements for the role.

Responsibilities

• Follow MSHA and H&K safety policies.
• Perform plant maintenance and keep work areas clean.
• Learn plant functions and cross-train to substitute when needed.
• Collaborate with site personnel and work as part of a team.
• Other duties as assigned.
