Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited law school and membership in the State Bar of Michigan.
• Those who have taken the State Bar Exam but are awaiting results may be considered.
• Working knowledge of accepted courtroom practices and procedures and basic computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Draft warrants and negotiate settlements.
• Try District and/or Circuit Court misdemeanor and felony cases.
• Appear in various courts as a representative of the Office of the Prosecutor.
• Perform legal research and discuss legal problems with citizens, officials, and law enforcement agencies.
