Responsibilities

• Advise DHHS staff on child protection matters
• Review petitions for legal sufficiency and approve/deny DHHS child protection petitions
• Advise police on case investigations and search warrants
• Review charges against juveniles and appear at hearings
• Conduct pre-trial conferences and court appearances
• Represent petitioners at Family Recovery Court and Driver License hearings
• Prepare and present court motions and trials
• Attend PPO hearings and related court proceedings
