Job summary

Urban Edge Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations of a portfolio of retail centers in the Maryland region. You will work with the Regional Director and gradually take ownership of assigned properties, gaining experience in budgeting, vendor coordination, tenant relations, and property inspections.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and initiative, with opportunities to contribute to ESG efforts, capital projects, and compliance

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office and related tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to learn and take on progressively greater responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections and report findings to Regional Director.
• Independently manage less complex properties within the region.
• Coordinate with tenants, vendors, and internal partners.
• Assist in budgeting, capital projects, and operating plans.
• Support vendor management and track performance.
• Maintain records of operations, contracts, and communications.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests promptly.
• Support ESG initiatives and sustainability programs at properties.
