Job summary

INLIVIAN in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to oversee daily operations, assist residents, and ensure compliance across sites. This role emphasizes balancing people, property, and performance while stepping into leadership when needed.

The position requires strong organizational skills, leasing/rent collection knowledge, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (property management or related field).
• Knowledge of leasing, rent collection, and compliance processes (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Manage rent collections and accounts receivable, and delinquency follow-ups.
• Assist with leasing activities—from showing units to processing applications.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct move-ins, move-outs, and inspections.
• Maintain resident files and ensure HUD compliance.
• Support resident relations and community engagement initiatives.
• Step in to lead operations in the Property Manager’s absence.
