Charities Housing is hiring a Full-time Assistant Property Manager for Alum Rock Apartments and HomeSafe San Jose. The role includes supporting the Property Manager, managing recertifications, vacancies, and resident services in a tax credit housing setting.

The compensation includes $26.25 per hour plus a 2-bedroom rent-free apartment (subject to occupancy and regulatory standards). The position requires prior property management experience, preferably with tax credit properties, and a valid CA

Competenze

Experience: At least one year on-site property management and clerical duties.
Tax Credit/LIHTC experience highly preferred; HUD knowledge a plus.
Must provide a valid California Driver's License.
Bilingual a plus.

Mansioni

Takes direction from Property Manager.
Assists in initial and annual recertification.
Services residents' complaints and requests.
Markets vacancies.
Conducts daily inspections of grounds and vacant units.
Processes tenant applications (credit, landlord, income, background).
Maintains project files with daily filing in tenant, maintenance, vendor and project files.
Performs annual unit inspections.
Schedules resident maintenance requests.
Enforces tenant rules and regulations.
Assists in maintenance of property files for affordable housing programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
