Job summary

Amesbury Gardens, located in Lawrence, MA, is seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager. The property comprises 160 units with hours 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include leasing, waitlist management, recertifications, rent collections, report preparation, work orders, and invoice processing. Required qualifications include at least 3 years of HUD/Section 8 experience, proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of affordable housing (HUD Section 8) experience is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
• Experience with Yardi is a plus.
• COS certification is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Leasing and waitlist management.
• Recertifications and rent collections.
• Report preparation and processing invoices.
• Work orders and event coordination.
• Overall office management.
