National Church Residences is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for two senior affordable housing communities in New Castle, PA and Wheatland, PA. You will support the Property Manager, handle daily admin tasks, assist residents, and ensure regulatory compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 programs.

The role involves leasing support, rent collection, and maintaining accurate records while coordinating with maintenance to complete work orders promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in property management is a plus.
• Experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing.
• Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the apartment communities to ensure smooth, compliant operations.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist in leasing activities, including showing units and processing applications.
• Conduct background checks and manage rent collections and delinquencies.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, financial transactions, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 guidelines.
