Job summary

Zekelman Industries in Maricopa, AZ is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations of our residential community. You will handle rent collection, leasing tasks, move-ins/outs, and resident inquiries while coordinating with the Community Property Manager, vendors, and maintenance staff.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in property management, a high school diploma, proficiency with Excel and Yardi, and the ability to lead in the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of property management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of leasing practices and Fair Housing laws.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with Yardi and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle rent payments, late notices, and rent-collection procedures.
• Assist with leasing, renewals, tours, and tenancy documentation.
• Coordinate move-ins/move-outs, inspections, and readiness checks.
• Submit invoices and help with budget adherence.
• Serve as on-site lead in the Community Property Manager's absence.
