VESTA MANAGEMENT CORPORATION is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Village Green & Yarmouth Commons in Barnstable, MA to support occupancy, leasing, and collections.

The role emphasizes resident relations, coordinating applications, renewals, and vendor oversight, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

This position requires hands-on affordable housing experience, strong customer service, and the ability to act as site lead in absence of the Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience plus 2 years in occupancy/leasing.
• Experience with site-based affordable housing programs strongly preferred.
• COS and/or CPO Certification strongly preferred.
• Multilingual skills strongly preferred; basic email communication required; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Foster positive relationships with residents, communities, and agencies.
• Assist Property Manager in coordination of compliance, leasing, resident retention, and maintenance.
• Manage and process rent collections, deposits, and delinquencies as assigned.
• Coordinate leasing, showings, and applicant processing with accuracy.
• Maintain property data in the management software and related records.
• Ensure property meets Vesta quality standards; coordinate with maintenance as needed.
