Job summary

Avita Property Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in day-to-day operations of a multifamily community in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on maintaining cash flow, tenancy administration, and resident relations while upholding Avita standards.

Responsibilities include leasing, move-ins/outs coordination, file maintenance, and assisting with reports. The position starts at $25/hour and follows a standard weekday schedule with weekends off.

Qualifications

• No less than 1 year of leasing experience is required.
• Strong supervisory, customer service, and sales background preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and regulations in multifamily properties.
• Basic accounting skills including commissions, percentages, and discounts.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• In PM's absence, manage office and teams and handle all property monies; ensure daily bank deposits.
• Show apartments and process applications; ensure lease or rental agreements are completed and renewed.
• Coordinate move-ins/move-outs and maintain resident files per policy.
• Process paperwork and keep resident data confidential; post rent and prepare deposits.
• Assist with eviction processes per court orders and attorney directions.
• Prepare weekly traffic/renewal status reports and assist PM with reports.
