Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate in Toledo, OH, seeks an Assistant Property Manager to serve as second in command at the community, supporting leasing, operations, and resident experiences. This full-time role reports to the Property Manager.

You will lead leasing activities, conduct tours, process applications, and oversee renewals while helping maintain financial performance and cash flow. Prior multifamily experience and software proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in leasing and sales required, with Leasing Manager experience preferred.
• Familiarity with multifamily conventional or student housing strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in property management software such as OneSite, Entrata, or other RealPage products preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to participate in emergency duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of the leasing process to meet and exceed goals, including entering leads, contacting prospects, tours, and screening.
• Monitor and participate in resident renewals and ensure timely collection and posting of payments.
• Maintain clubhouse, model units, and tour routes to high standards.
• Support marketing efforts and resident events to attract prospects and retain residents.
• Assist the Property Manager with financial reporting and closing financial books.
• Serve as acting Property Manager in their absence and uphold company policies.
• Address escalated resident concerns professionally and promptly.
