Job summary

Highland Management Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Hazeltine Shores Townhomes in the Chaska/Edina area. The role is full-time (40 hours weekly) with a starting hourly rate of $19.00, and on-site housing benefits are available to offset rent in some cases.

You will support the Site Manager in running the rental office and work toward achieving optimal occupancy of units, while ensuring compliance with tenant/landlord laws and delivering quality resident service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state and federal tenant/landlord laws.
• Experience in marketing and leasing apartments to hit occupancy goals.
• Professional communication with residents and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager in operating the rental office.
• Help achieve and maintain optimum occupancy of rental units.
• Market and lease apartment units to achieve occupancy goals.
• Greet prospects/residents with professional courtesy.
• Maintain professional communications with residents, guests, and business partners.
• Process rental applications and apply screening procedures.
• Prepare and maintain resident files neatly and professionally.
• Understand water, gas meter shut-offs, fixtures and sewer clean-outs.
