Job summary

Yugo, a global leader in student housing, seeks an Assistant Property Manager in Gainesville to support daily property operations under the General Manager. The role covers leasing, resident services, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with policies to deliver an exceptional living experience for residents.

You will lead tours, process applications, coordinate maintenance, monitor budgets, and contribute to marketing efforts to optimize occupancy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience in residential properties, rental operations, or related business operations.
• Experience working at a property, preferably university/college setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations under supervision of the Property Manager.
• Manage resident accounts including rent collections, delinquency follow-up, invoicing, deposits, and payment processing.
• Support lease renewals, resident retention, and eviction processes per policy and law.
• Maintain accurate resident records, lease files, and financial documentation.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting, budget tracking, and end-of-month close processes.
• Support development and monitoring of annual property budgets and expense goals.
• Lead leasing and marketing efforts: tours, inquiries, and lease applications.
