Job summary

Drucker + Falk in Columbus, Ohio seeks an Assistant Property Manager to assist the Property Manager in daily operations, leasing, and resident relations. This regular full-time role covers the Columbus and Dublin areas and supports ensuring cash flow and community standards.

You will show apartments, process applications, coordinate move-ins/move-outs, maintain resident files, renewals, and coordinate with maintenance. Growth opportunities and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ work experience in retail sales or customer related service.
• Detailed oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills as well as sales and marketing skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Show apartments and process applications for prospective residents.
• Handle and coordinate all details of move-ins and move-outs.
• Prepare and maintain resident files according to company policies.
• Initiate the lease renewal process and forward completed packets to the Property Manager for approval.
• Process maintenance service requests.
• Actively participate in maintaining good resident relations in the community.
• Prepare weekly traffic/renewal status reports.
• Keep the advertising and websites file up to date.
• Cooperate with other departments within the company.
• Handle any other special assignments which may be given from time to time by the Property Manager or Regional Property Manager.
