Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage Group in Seattle is seeking a Float Assistant Property Manager to join as a full-time team member. You will support multiple locations, show units, and guide customers through the leasing process to achieve occupancy goals.

Ideal candidates have retail sales and customer service experience, are comfortable with cash handling, and can work Mon-Fri 9:45am-6:15pm with occasional weekends or holidays. On-the-job training and promotion opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales and customer service.
• Ability to manage cash and basic accounting tasks.
• Comfort with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process.
• Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing storage needs.
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash.
• General office tasks (filing, handling customer accounts).
• Maintain property to cleanliness/operational standards.

West Coast Self-Storage Group has a full-time opening in Seattle for a Float Assistant Property Manager. Ideal candidates would have retail sales and customer service experience and are looking to grow within our career path.

Location Details

This team member will be expected to commute to support our Seattle locations as needed.

Schedule

Full-Time, Mon-Fri (Off Sat & Sun), working 9:45am-6:15pm.

Day to Day

• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process
• Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives
• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
• General office tasks, e.g., filing, managing customer accounts, sorting mail/deliveries
• Maintain property to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs
• Other duties assigned by leadership

What You Will Bring

• Retail Sales, Cash Management, and Customer Service experience
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required)
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
