Job summary

UDC, headquartered in Johnson City, TN, seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations and drive occupancy. You’ll work with the Property Manager to improve resident satisfaction and hit financial goals.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in property management, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and familiarity with leasing and property systems. CAM/CPM/ARM certifications are a plus, with opportunities for growth and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of property management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• CAM, CPM, or ARM certifications are a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily property operations, leasing, and resident relations.
• Assist with rent collection, delinquency management, and financial reporting.
• Help maintain accurate records, lease files, and property data.
• Assist with budget preparation and monitoring property performance.
• Respond to resident concerns and ensure high levels of service.
• Coordinate with vendors and assist with invoice processing.
• Oversee unit turns and ensure move-in readiness.
• Conduct property walks to maintain standards.
