Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our San Jose communities. The role oversees daily operations, handles resident escalations, and supports the Resident Services team to maintain service standards.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance of common areas and vacant units, training staff, ensuring SOP compliance, and handling administrative accounting tasks. Travel between communities may be required; CA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Travel between communities may be required daily.
• Valid California driver's license and ongoing vehicle liability insurance as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by anticipating residents' needs and resolving questions promptly.
• Supervises maintenance of common areas, grounds and vacant units to company standards.
• Oversees administrative resident services tasks and retention activities with accurate documentation.
• Provides hands-on training and mentorship to resident services associates.
• Ensures audit compliance to SOPs.
• Executes administrative accounting processes for the operating unit.
• Drives efficiency by adopting and maximizing the use of new and existing technologies.
