Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Houston, TX to support leasing, resident services, and day-to-day operations. You will assist with rent collection, coordinate leasing activities, and oversee vendor relationships to maintain property standards.

Qualified candidates bring leasing or customer service experience, strong communication, and basic accounting knowledge. Knowledge of Fair Housing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Leasing, sales, and/or customer service experience desired.
• Exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good understanding of basic accounting practices.
• Entrata Core experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws is preferred.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-person assistance and service to residents with regards to the payment of rent, fees, and other charges.
• Coordinating leasing and resident activities.
• Managing vendors.
• Responsible for maintaining up-to-date resident files, managing delinquencies, and preparing and delivering legal and formal documents.
• May occasionally assume responsibility for the community when the Property Manager is unavailable or absent.
