Job summary

Cottonwood Residential in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to provide in-person service to residents, handle rent payments, and support leasing activities.

You will maintain resident files, manage delinquencies, assist with legal documents, and may cover the community when the Property Manager is away. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Leasing, sales, and/or customer service experience desired.
• Exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good understanding of basic accounting practices.
• Entrata Core experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws is preferred.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-person assistance and service to residents with regards to the payment of rent, fees, and other charges.
• Coordinating leasing and resident activities.
• Responsible for maintaining up-to-date resident files, managing delinquencies, and preparing and delivering legal and formal documents.
• May occasionally assume responsibility for the community when the Property Manager is unavailable or absent.
