Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group, owner of Summer Green Apartments in Longview, TX, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support on-site operations and drive renewals. You will work closely with the Property Manager to lease apartments, show units, and ensure marketing is current and effective.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year in an assistant or property management role, and strong computer and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in an assistant manager or manager role.
• Experience in multifamily housing required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Customer service experience required.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm, 1 Saturday a month (10:00 am-2:00 pm)

Responsibilities

• Assists the Property Manager with all on-site property operations
• Ensure tenant renewals are being captured at the highest rate possible
• Responsible for building and maintaining a resident relations program
• Ensures property is leased at or above market occupancy at proper rent levels by showing and leasing apartments
• Assists Property Manager in ensuring all property marketing is current, accurate and at its greatest effect

What We Need From You

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years' experience in an assistant manager or manager role
• Experience in multifamily housing industry required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Customer service experience required
• Sales experience a plus
• Must have excellent computer skills
• Have excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong multitasking abilities
