Job summary

Atlantic Pacific Companies, a leading property management firm, seeks an Assistant Property Manager for a 39-unit Affordable Community in Washington, DC. You will assist the Property Manager in daily operations, implement policies, and maintain compliance with LIHTC and affordable housing programs.

The role requires strong organizational skills, leasing support, rent collections, reporting, and daily site inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience with LIHTC and affordable housing operations is required.
• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management systems is required.
• Bluemoon or Yieldstart experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, provide leasing information, schedule tours, and handle resident requests.
• Assist the Property Manager with all management tasks and financial duties.
• Support resident services and resolve concerns as needed.
• Assist with rent collection and notices.
• Conduct daily property inspections and monitor vacant units.
• Prepare monthly reports on renewals, rents, leasing, traffic and retention.
• Perform various administrative tasks.
