Job summary

SAHA, a nonprofit housing developer in the Bay Area, seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support leasing, move-ins/move-outs, and tenant relations at Tabora Gardens (Antioch) and Veterans Square (Pittsburg). The role handles occupancy reports, recertification, and rent processing.

Ideal candidates have affordable housing or property management exposure, strong MS Office and Yardi familiarity, and a customer-focused, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Affordable housing experience is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of affordable housing programs (e.g. Tax Credit, HUD, Section 8) is a plus.
• Customer service and administrative experience is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing apartments, move-ins and move-outs.
• Maintain waiting list database, filing system and occupancy reports.
• Maintain tenant files and assist with tenant concerns and complaints.
• Prepare work orders for maintenance staff.
• Assist with recertification processes and HUD updates.
• Assist with rent collection and processing deposits.
• Prepare documents for accounting for the sites in an administrative capacity.
• Fill in for Property Manager in their absence.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
