Job description

The Assistant Property Manager supports the community manager by maintaining the assigned property and performing related management functions. These include coordinating leasing and marketing efforts, approving move-in files, promoting lease renewals, managing resident relations, team building, and other duties as assigned by the Regional Property Supervisor.

Essential Functions:
  1. Assist Property Manager with daily property management duties.
  2. Support TIC compliance.
  3. Enter guest cards, applicant data, and process move-ins.
  4. Support property management tasks such as reports, inspections, and recertifications.
  5. Process bills using Yardi Voyager.
  6. Interact with residents, onsite managers, supervisors, and office staff.
  7. Organize and schedule meetings and appointments as directed.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  9. Screen calls from residents, vendors, and managers.
  10. Assist with maintenance scheduling and leasing activities.
  11. Assist with rent collections and rent rolls.
  12. Prepare notices and support annual recertifications.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Experience with office devices (printer, telephone, scanner).
  • Good communication and writing skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Yardi Voyager experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in property management is a plus.
