Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Property Manager, assist in the overall operation of the property, implement policies and procedures, maintain occupancy, and support residents, including those with special needs. Interact with vendors and support staff to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Interview and screen prospective residents.
  2. Prepare, process, and sign leases and rules.
  3. Purchase supplies and services following policies.
  4. Assist with inspections and work order monitoring.
  5. Handle rent collection, receipting, and deposits using Boston Post software.
  6. Issue warning letters and legal notices to residents.
  7. Maintain records and submit reports per company policies.
  8. Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Strong problem-solving, listening, and reasoning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 1-2 years property management experience, preferably with Tax Credit properties.
  • Experience managing affordable housing complexes.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, including Tax Credit Section 42.
