You will be a key onsite representative of the Oxford property management team in day-to-day operations. The Assistant Property Manager will provide world-class customer service to tenants and customers. You will be responsible for the overall Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes (applying cash, working in JDE, coding invoices, etc.). The position will also involve property operations including monitoring the work order system, contracts, maintaining customer and vendor relationships, lease and vendor files, COIs, property tours, etc. Serve as liaison between customers, vendors, corporate/regional, and leasing personnel.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:


Customer Service:

  • Customer relationship management; overseeing scheduling of tenant events and meetings, formal and informal tenant meetings; coordinating tenant construction; performing regular tenant greetings in the lobby.


Operations:

  • Providing day-to-day operations management of the assigned property or properties; directing the activities of workers engaged in operating and maintaining the facilities and equipment; ensuring quality of operating services, both internal (engineering, construction) and third-party (landscape, janitorial).
  • Overseeing the daily maintenance, upkeep, and conditions of the properties; performing regular building tours; managing vendors and contracts.
  • Managing work orders; closing, billing, verifying, and following up on work orders.
  • Supporting leasing activities; ensuring lease requirements are met; monitoring vacant spaces.
  • Participating in emergency response and ensuring life safety programs are in place.


Financial:

  • Reviewing operating and tax true-ups; preparing utility billings; managing budgets; reviewing financial reports; coding invoices.
  • Managing accounts receivable, collections, and tenant billings.


Administrative:

  • Preparing tenant communications; responding to requests; scheduling meetings; maintaining contacts and emergency info; managing vendor documents; coordinating tenant events; handling general administrative duties.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and other locations are listed below. The final offer will consider various factors including skills and experience.

Primary location: District of Columbia. Base pay range: $65,000 - $85,000.
