Overview

Yugo is a global student housing operator dedicated to providing great living experiences for students. We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support team operations and enhance resident satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, preferred; in lieu of a degree, equivalent residential property experience required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in residential properties, rental operations, or related business operations.
  • Experience at a university/college property a plus.
  • Experience with Entrata or similar rental software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent customer service skills, handling difficult or emotional situations and responding promptly to requests.
  • Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to pursue training.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate resident records, process rent payments, and ensure timely collection of all fees.
  • Oversee lease renewals, resident retention, and eviction processes per company policies.
  • Manage invoices and deposits, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead leasing and marketing efforts, conducting property tours and engaging prospective residents.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives and track market trends to stay competitive in pricing and amenities.
  • Address resident service requests, conduct follow‑ups, and maintain a positive community atmosphere.
  • Oversee vendor management and ensure all service needs are met.
  • Maintain property standards through regular inspections and address operational needs.
  • Assisting with preparing and reviewing reports on move‑outs, occupancy rates, and leasing activity.
  • Organize and maintain lease paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance during move‑ins and move‑outs.
  • Comply with all state, federal, and company policies, including Fair Housing regulations.
  • Assist with managing the team, leading regular meetings, and driving community goals.
  • Ensure office and model units are presentable, fostering a welcoming environment for prospects.
