Job summary

Silver Tree Residential, LLC in San Jose, CA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our Bay Area team. This position supports leasing, HUD/LIHTC compliance, and day-to-day property operations at Redwood Seniors of Willow Glen, a 140-unit senior community.

You will maintain OneSite data, process certifications and notices, interact with residents and vendors, and help present the community in a positive light while delivering outstanding service and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leasing apartment communities experience.
• Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, LIHTC preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Utilize and maintain data in OneSite property management system.
• Process and file forms while maintaining confidentiality.
• Know lease terms, amenities, rates, and policies of the community.
• Present property and amenities positively to prospective tenants.

We are looking for a dedicated and upbeat ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER to join our growing team in the Bay Area. Redwood Seniors of Willow Glen, a 140-unit Senior apartment complex, is located in the historic and upscale district of Willow Glen, “San Jose’s Local Treasure.” This is a rare opportunity to work in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the area.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Utilize and maintain all data in OneSite property management system.
• Efficiently process and file forms and documents as necessary, maintaining confidentiality of personnel and residents.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, amenities, rates, sizes, and locations of property and all community policies.
• Present property and provide amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants
• Advertise available units using a variety of media and promoting materials
• Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals.
• Conduct all initial certifications, annual re-certifications, and interim certifications. Audit all move-in files and assist with move-in certifications and qualifications as required by HUD.
• EIV reporting and investigations.
• MOR Audit preparations.
• Prepare and execute all required notices, interviews, verifications of household information, and completion of the Tenant Income Certifications.

Qualified Candidates Will Have

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing apartment communities
• Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, and/or LIHTC
• Accomplished interpersonal skills; capable of dealing effectively with employees, residents, vendors and co-workers; along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and customer service skills
