In your role at CubeSmart Self Storage, you will be required to manage and maintain your property, involving customer service and property maintenance skills.

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for:

Customer Service:
  • Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering excellent service.
  • Interacting face-to-face with customers, providing service, and building rapport.
  • Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
  • Walking the property to perform lock checks and show units to customers.
  • Renting storage spaces, selling merchandise, managing leasing, accepting payments via POS, completing bank deposits, and making courtesy calls on late payments.
Property Maintenance:
  • Physical activities include daily walks, cleaning units and the property, opening/closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
  • Maintaining the facility through mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning units, etc.
  • Ensuring the storage facility is clean and safe, meeting company standards.

Qualifications

You’d be great in this role if you have:

  • A positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
  • Experience delivering high-quality customer service to diverse customers.
  • Basic computer skills.

Additional requirements include:

  • Availability to work Saturdays (and some locations may require Sundays).
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder frequently.

*Some locations may require Sunday hours
