Join to apply for the Assistant Property Manager role at Cape Associates, Inc.

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager, Commercial Property Management.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Manage daily work in QuickBooks, including entries and preparation of financial statements.
  2. Maintain separate accounts for each commercial property.
  3. Process and record invoices, perform weekly check runs, and reconcile bank accounts monthly.
  4. Track customer payments, make deposits, and manage delinquent accounts.
  5. Organize records of contractors, collect W9s, and prepare 1099s.
  6. Collaborate with accountants for tax reports and prepare financial reports for Board meetings.
  7. Develop and manage financial reports for each property based on established criteria.
  8. Oversee and train Account Coordinators on accounting principles.
Property Management Responsibilities include:
  1. Coordinate with the manager to develop property management responsibilities.
  2. Communicate with Trustees and homeowners/unit owners.
  3. Review insurance policies, schedule board meetings, and oversee financials.
  4. Monitor budgets, develop annual budgets, and prepare for annual meetings and elections.
  5. Assist in preparing monthly billing, RFPs, and contracts.
  6. Understand and respect each community's bylaws, rules, and community philosophy.
