Position Summary:

We seek a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support our property management team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, service-driven, and capable of helping oversee day-to-day property operations, administrative functions, vendor management, and resident relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Property Manager in daily operations of a portfolio of residential and mixed-use properties
  • Act as a point of contact for tenants, owners, vendors, and building staff
  • Assist with property inspections, maintenance coordination, and follow-ups on open work orders
  • Monitor compliance with local laws, building codes, and PPM’s internal standards
  • Help prepare and distribute notices, reports, meeting minutes, and communications
  • Manage vendor scheduling, invoice tracking, and contract renewals
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and rent collections
  • Maintain accurate records in property management software (e.g., Yardi, BuildingLink, SharePoint)
  • Contribute to resident satisfaction initiatives and community engagement efforts

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of property management or real estate experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Yardi, BuildingLink, CondoCafe, SharePoint a plus
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with NYC property compliance requirements a plus
  • Passion for service and commitment to excellence
