Transwestern is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support Property Managers in Minneapolis, MN, overseeing a retail and industrial property portfolio. This on-site role includes budgeting, monthly operating reports, tenant billings, rent collection, and lease administration, with a focus on tenant relations.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, 3+ years of property management experience, and MS 365 proficiency.

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for assisting the Property Managers with managing a portfolio of retail and industrial properties and fulfilling the manager’s obligations under the property’s management agreements. The Assistant Property Manager will support the property managers with the budget development, preparation of monthly operating reports and client deliverables, tenant billings, collection of rent, processing of property payables, lease abstracting and administration.
It is also the responsibility of the Assistant Property Manager not only to exhibit legendary customer service when communicating with tenants, prospective tenants, owners, and vendors but also to focus on productivity and results.
This is a dynamic, on-site role that places you at the heart of the action. As a result, an essential function of this position is a hybrid position. Your schedule will allow for at least three days per week in an office with one or both property managers, and possibly up to two days per week visiting properties and working on the sites. Schedule will be determined in conjunction with the property managers in advance.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
