Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a qualified and dedicated Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the property manager with the daily operations of a residential community. From tenant relations to maintenance coordination and leasing support, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient management of the property, contributing to a positive living environment for our residents.
Respond to resident inquiries and assist in resolving concerns professionally and promptly
Coordinate and monitor maintenance requests and vendor services
Support leasing efforts, including conducting property tours and processing applications
Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, reports, and market studies
Conduct regular property inspections and maintain accurate records
Contribute to rent collection, deposit tracking, and lease administration

Perform other duties as assigned by the property manager
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in property management, leasing, sales, or marketing preferred
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency in software applications (MRI and VMS experience is a plus)
Ability to conduct regular property inspections with or without reasonable accommodation
A commitment to providing excellent customer service in all resident and vendor interactions
